The method

Speed that survives the quiz

Most speed-reading products sell a bigger number. We sell a truer one — and train you against it.

One metric that can’t lie

Your effective WPM is reading speed multiplied by comprehension, and the comprehension half is graded on our servers — the quiz never ships with its answers. Read at 600 WPM but retain half of it, and your eWPM says 300. Skim a passage at scrolling speed and we won’t score it at all: we’ll tell you, warmly, that it wasn’t a real read.

What the evidence supports — and what it doesn’t

The research is clear that sustained reading beyond roughly 500–600 words per minute with full comprehension has no credible support — so we will never promise you 2,000 WPM. What is well-supported: most readers sit far below their potential, and deliberate practice — steady pacing, fewer unnecessary regressions, comfort-zone stretching, active recall — produces real, measurable gains. Our projections are ranges, not promises, because your effort decides.

Twelve levels, honest gates

The curriculum climbs from foundation habits to advanced gear-shifting across twelve levels. Each level ends in a gate: unseen passages at a required difficulty, graded server-side, passed only by demonstrated ability on two separate days. No gate can be waited out or paid through.

Training that respects you

  • Ten-minute daily sessions tuned to your weakest skill — never busywork
  • Drills labeled with what the evidence actually supports, verbatim, in the app
  • Streaks with mercy (freezes, vacations) — no shame mechanics
  • A coach that speaks only when it has something honest and specific to say

Three minutes. One honest number.
